Newbiggin RNLI Easter fundraiser

The Newbiggin RNLI Easter fundraiser took place in and around the boathouse today. With fair winds and some sunshine the event was a welcoming sight on the sea front at the north end of Newbiggin Bay. Over the day hundreds of supporters came along to the event that brought on brisk trade at the many stalls. Our volunteers had a multitude of stalls with something on offer for everyone from knitted toys, tombola, cakes and the well supported refreshment area.

Thanks go out to everyone from the volunteer team who made this event such a success and also a big thank you to those organisations who donated to the event and facilitated exhibition space for the event.

The fundraisers are already working on the next event over the May Day weekend with a beach clean planned for Newbiggin Bay on Saturday 3rd May 2025 between 10.00am and 1.00pm as part of the RNLI Mayday Mile fundraising initiative. Why not come along and join us for this special environmental stewardship event as well as the refreshments at the boathouse.
