
Hartlepool company fundraiser for Hartlepool RNLI
A series of fundraising events held by the Hartlepool company Cicor has raised £1200 for the charity.
A spokesperson for the Tofts Farm Industrial Estate company said 'The Hartlepool RNLI Lifeboat Station was selected by employees at Cicor Hartlepool as one of our nominated charities for 2024/2025.
Everyone at the Hartlepool site is aware of the necessary life-saving work done by the RNLI and we value the commitment and dedication that the volunteers provide to the service.
During the last 12 months we have held a number of fundraising events including Lunchtime Bingo, a Christmas Raffle, Christmas Jumper Day and Football Fundraising Cards.
We are really pleased to have raised £1,200 for the Hartlepool Lifeboat Station'.

Key facts about the RNLI
The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 146,000 lives.
