Littlestone RNLI dog show brings wagging tails and rosettes.
On Sunday 3 August Littlestone RNLI held their first fun dog show.
There were several fun classes for dogs including 'Waggiest Tail', 'Dog Most Like Their Owner', 'Best Trick' and 'Best Rescue' as well some more traditional classes such as 'Best Puppy', 'Most Handsome Boy' and 'Prettiest Girl'.
Littlestone RNLI's own crew member Mark Owen came a close second in the 'Dog Most Like Their Owner' class with his dog Cooper.
Supported by local businesses, the day was an amazing success with over £1000 raised from entry fees, stall holders and RNLI fundraising stalls. Not to be outdone the lifeboat station shop took over £400.
Fundraising Chair Sarah Thrall said 'I couldn't believe how many turned up to our event, I was only expecting about 20 dogs and we welcomed over 70. Everyone attending had a fantastic day and this was a great way to help save lives at sea'.
