Some others displays included, the Welsh Ambulance Service, North Wales Police, HM Coastguard, The Rhyl RNLI Water Safety Team, Classic Cars, a Mermaid providing face painting, and the Conwy Pirates along with other stands, displays and games.

There was also a rescue demonstration during the day, by the Blackpool Working Newfoundland Dogs.

Sandra Hughes, Rhyl RNLI’s Fundraising Chair said “This years Open Day was a great success with fun for all on the promenade. I’d like to thank everyone who helped make the event happen. We raised over £2000 for the charity, which will help our volunteer crews continue to save lives at sea”.
