Padstow lifeboat continued into Padstow Harbour as part of the Sea Sunday celebrations. On their way back to the station, they were tasked again to assist Rock RNLI.

Rock RNLI crew launched to reports of a rigid inflatable boat that had broken down at Port Quin. Rock volunteer crew members went aboard the rib to assess the situation and were unable to get the engine started. The safest course of action was to take the rib under tow. Padstow RNLI, having the all-weather lifeboat, took the rib under tow towards a mooring at Rock.

Rock RNLI then took over the tow and secured the rib safely to the mooring.

Padstow RNLI were stood down and returned to the lifeboat station, refuelled and ready for service by 8.50pm.
