Hunstanton RNLI hovercraft rescues man from grounded yacht
A Norfolk lifeboat station sent its hovercraft to rescue a man on board a stranded yacht.
They launched hovercraft Hunstanton Flyer, which was quickly on its way with three crew on board.
After locating the yacht, they assisted a man in his 70s who was alone on board into the hovercraft.
They then ensured the yacht was securely anchored, before ferrying the man ashore to HM Coastguard.
The hovercraft then returned to station, arriving just after 6:30pm.
The craft was then washed down, checked and refuelled ready for its next service.
