Tenby inshore lifeboat rescues person cut off by tide

Lifeboats News Release

Tenby's inshore lifeboat was launched just after 5pm on Saturday 26th July, following a report of somebody cut off by the incoming tide between Monkstone and Swallowtree near Saundersfoot.

The volunteer crew made best speed to the area and were conned onto the casualty by RNLI Lifeguards from Saundersfoot.

Once onboard the boat, the casualty was dropped ashore at Saundersfoot, where lifeguards were waiting to treat the minor cuts that he has received whilst walking on the rocks.

The lifeboat then returned to station.
