Swanage inshore lifeboat launched to jetski in difficulty
Two people on a personal watercraft (PWC) - commonly referred to as a 'jetski' - got into difficulty shortly after launching this afternoon.
The D class inshore lifeboat launched and located the broken down PWC in the choppy water of the tidal race. The two casualties were taken off the small vessel and returned to the council jetty. The D class lifeboat then returned to the PWC, secured a tow and recovered it to its owners.
