Bangor RNLI 60th Anniversary badge designed by keen lifeboat supporter
Earlier this year the children of the crew at Bangor RNLI were invited to submit designs for a logo for the station's 60th anniversary.
All the designs received were fantastic and after a lot of serious deliberation by the Bangor RNLI volunteers, the diamond shaped logo by Hannah Beale was the winner. Hanna received a Bangor RNLI crew Jacket from the volunteers as thanks for her efforts and continued support.
Hanna comes from a true lifeboat family, both her mother and father Christine and Chris are members of the crew at Bangor, her aunt and uncle Samantha and Dave are also volunteers.
Hanna’s logo was digitised for the station by Adrian Power, and has now been made into an enamel pin badge to mark the occasion of the Diamond Anniversary.
These badges are for sale at Bangor Marina, from any of the crew, or from our pop-up-shop at the Sea Bangor Festival next week. The cost is £2.50 each.
All proceeds from sales will go to the RNLI.
