New future crew for New Brighton RNLI as volunteer couple announce pregnancy
Connor and Ffion recently announced to their fellow crew that they were expecting their first child who is due in early November.
Connor and Ffion are both volunteers at New Brighton RNLI. Connor joined in 2022 and has been a vital part of the team ever since. He holds many roles at station including being the Lifeboat Press Officer and Tier 2 Lifeboat Crew on the Atlantic 85 lifeboat.
Ffion joined the station in 2024 as New Brighton Lifeboats Medical Advisor, who is primarily responsible for keeping crew medicals up to date and conducting them with the crew members. Ffion is also an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Liverpool Women's Hospital. Since joining she has become a valued member of the crew.
New Brighton RNLI wishes them all the best as they begin their journey as new parents. Lee Arnall, Lifeboat Operations Manager, said:
'Ffion and Connor make a great volunteer duo and we are delighted that they are increasing the big RNLI family that we are here at New Brighton Lifeboat Station. Both provide a variety of key roles at station that help us towards our misson of saving lives at sea.'
