FUNdraising day for Great Yarmouth & Gorleston RNLI
David Buckland and Nikki Howard at Broadland Sands Holiday Park, Corton, organised a traditional sports day at the park which was open to owners, staff and guests.
Nikki Howard said: ‘We chose the RNLI as our Fun Day beneficiary because you’re true lifesavers. Living by the coast, we all know how important it is to have you there, ready day and night to help anyone in need.
As a seaside community, we know how important your presence is not just for visitors enjoying the water, but for local families, holidaymakers, and everyone who calls this coastline home. You don’t just rescue people, you bring families back together and keep our community safe.'
Nikki continued: 'The RNLI is powered by volunteers and donations, so supporting you was our way of saying thank you for always being there when it matters most and we really wanted to give back to an organisation that gives so much to our community.’
The sports day raised an incredible £1021.95 and our volunteers raised £167.50 on their stall as well.
Thanks so much to Nikki and David for arranging this event and to all the staff and participants at the park, from everyone at Great Yarmouth and Gorleston RNLI!
