What is Volunteers' Week?
Volunteers’ Week is a great opportunity to check in with volunteers, thank them for what they do and show them the difference they are making to their local community as well as inspiring others to volunteer.
Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration led by the UK Volunteering Forum (in the UK) and Volunteer Ireland (in Ireland) recognising millions of people who give up their time to volunteer.
These national events provide a brilliant opportunity to raise awareness of the incredible contribution volunteers make and a great opportunity to thank them for their support.
Volunteers’ Week fosters connections between national organisations and grassroots groups, celebrating the spirit of volunteering that enriches communities each year.
