Details of the new RNLI lifeboat arrival at Troon on Sunday 4 May 2025
Members of the public are invited to the harbour area, to join RNLI supporters, flank lifeboat stations and our emergency service colleagues to watch the new lifeboat arrive at Troon for the first time at 1355, the operational number of the new lifeboat.

We would love to see as many of our supporters welcome our new Shannon lifeboat to Troon on the 4 May 2025. It will a great sight to see our new Shannon class all-weather lifeboat RNLB Roy Barker VI arrive in Troon for the first time.

Parking will be limited to Harbour Road. Weather permitting the arrival will initially be seen from the Ballast Bank before the lifeboat enters the harbour.

Once the lifeboat arrives, on this occasion there won't be a chance to see onboard yet. This will take place instead during our annual lifeboat station Open Day in July.

Please be aware that there may be aircraft present at the event. If you intend on using a drone please make a member of the station aware.
